Cooling System: Service and Repair

COOLING SYSTEM BLEEDING
1. Drain coolant from engine.
2. Slowly pour coolant into radiator until full. Also fill reservoir tank to FULL mark.
3. Install radiator cap and start engine.
4. Run engine until it reaches operating temperature.
5. After thermostat opens, race engine three times then stop engine.
6. After engine has cooled, check coolant level.
7. If coolant level has dropped, fill to full level and repeat steps 4 through 6.
8. When coolant level stops dropping, add coolant to condense tank.
