DEALER SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS
Safety Recall # 776 -- Dash Panel Insulation Pad

^ This service requirement applies only to 1998 model year Chrysler Sebring Coupe, Dodge Avenger and Eagle Talon (FJ) vehicles built through January 16, 1998 (MDH 0116XX).

^ The dash panel insulation pad on the above listed vehicles, may interfere with the accelerator pedal movement and prevent the pedal from returning to a closed throttle (idle) position. To correct this condition, the dash panel insulation pad must be trimmed in the area above the accelerator pedal.

^ Dealers are encouraged to consider alternative scheduling and servicing approaches for this recall. This repair does not require hoists or other full service facility special equipment and is a CHRYSLER MOBILE SERVICE approved repair.
