Transmission Mode Switch: Description and Operation

TRANSMISSION CONTROL (TC) SWITCH

The TC switch provides an input signal to the PCM whenever the switch is pressed. The overdrive cancel indicator illuminates when the TC switch is cycled to engage or disengage the overdrive function of the transmission.
