Test N: The Charging System Warning Indicator Flickers Or Is Intermittent

PINPOINT TEST N: THE CHARGING SYSTEM WARNING INDICATOR FLICKERS OR IS INTERMITTENT

Normal Operation
Under normal operation, the charging system warning indicator is on with the key in the ON position and the engine off, and is off with the key in the ON position and the engine running.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Upper generator disconnected
- Lower generator disconnected
- I circuit upper or lower open
- Charging system warning indicator circuit open
- Upper generator
- Lower generator
- Instrument cluster
- PCM
