ISSUE
Some 2009 Escape vehicles equipped with a manual transmission may exhibit excessive clutch wear within the first 14,913 miles (24,000 Km) due to unique customer driving conditions within Mexico. An updated clutch is now available to reduce this specific type of wear.
ACTION
Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
Replace clutch with latest level service part. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 308-01.
