This article supersedes TSB 11-6-17 to update the Service Procedure.
ISSUE
Some 2011 Edge and MKX vehicles built on or before 5/10/2011 and equipped with automatic climate control may experience the inability to maintain a balance of interior cabin temperature with the climate control set on auto mode.
ACTION
Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
Reprogram the heating ventilation air conditioning (HVAC) module to the latest calibration using IDS release 74.03 or higher. This new calibration is not included in the VCM 2011.7 DVD. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website.
