ISSUE
Some 2011 Edge and Explorer vehicles equipped with a base (single display) instrument cluster, may experience the average fuel economy with higher than expected values, fuel trip computer stops incrementing at 99.9 gallons, and the coolant temperature display intermittently flickers on and off.
ACTION
Reprogram the instrument cluster to the latest calibration using IDS release 72.02 or higher. This new calibration is not included in the VCM 2011.3 DVD. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website.
