Parts required for this program are available through normal order processing channels. Order your parts requirements as needed and assure that parts are available in your dealership before scheduling the repair.

CLAIM PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS (A copy of these instructions should be filed in Subject 13.0 of you Warranty and Policy Manual).

Repairs performed under Owner Notification Program M27 may be submitted on warranty claim Form 1863, which is to include the information shown below. Enter Program Number M27 in the Program Code box in the upper left of the form. Repair claims should be submitted through the Direct Warranty Entry (DWE) System as much as possible.

To obtain reimbursement for material used in addition to the specified service parts, the following information is to be entered on the Form 1863.

^ Under the Part Number column headed BASIC, enter MAT.
^ In the column headed AMOUNT, enter $1.00 on the same line across from the MAT. entry.

PROGRAM EXPIRATION

This program will remain in effect during the 12-month/12,000-mile vehicle warranty period, or until September 30, 1984, whichever provides the greater coverage.

NOTIFICATION

Vehicle owners are being advised of Owner Notification Program M27 by separate letter (Attachment II).

IF AN INVOLVED VEHICLE HAS BEEN DELIVERED TO AN OWNER WHOSE NAME AND ADDRESS DOES NOT APPEAR ON YOUR ENCLOSED LISTING, PLEASE CONTACT THE OWNER AND ADVISE HIM OF THIS PROGRAM. IF THE OWNER WISHES TO INSPECT HIS VEHICLE, PLEASE PROVIDE HIM WITH A COPY OF THE OWNER LETTER. IF HE ELECTS TO HAVE YOU PERFORM THE INSPECTION, PLEASE MAKE ARRANGEMENTS WITH THE OWNER TO RETURN THE VEHICLE TO YOU FOR THE INSPECTION.

Note: You are being provided a copy of the "Convertible Top Dust Cover Installation" pamphlet for those units identified as "stock" on the enclosed listing. Please place a pamphlet in the glove compartment of each of these vehicles.
