A/T - A4LD Slips In 2nd or No 2nd Gear

PROBLEM: Slips in second, or no second gear

POSSIBLE CAUSE: Wrong intermediate band




Always air check the intermediate servo, and watch the band apply against the direct drum to be sure the band does not drag or contact the case.

If the band contacts the case during application, the result may be the band not holding the direct drum stationary.

Using a C-3 intermediate band as a replacement for the A4LD intermediate band may result in this symptom.
