^ POOR ACCELERATION - LEAN FUEL CONDITION EXHIBITING EEC IV CODE "141"

FORD:
1993 TAURUS

ISSUE:
Some 1993 Taurus flexible fuel vehicles may experience lean driveability concerns related to a contaminated lean fuel condition and exhibit a fault code "141" during a quick test. Poor acceleration is the typical symptom.

ACTION:
Perform the diagnostic procedures as outlined in the 1993 Powertrain Control Emissions Diagnosis Service Manual and service as required. If fault code "141" is present refer to Technical Service Bulletin Quarterly Bulletin 93-13B-1 and service as required.
