Coolant Level Sensor: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The low engine coolant switch supplies a ground to illuminate the coolant indicator lamp.

OPERATION
It will illuminate for several seconds when the ignition switch is turned to "START" or "RUN", or it will stay on continuously when the coolant level drops 2 inches below the full-cold mark on the side of the recovery bottle.
