Installation

1. Install sprockets and timing chain on the camshaft and crankshaft simultaneously.

Timing Chain R&R:

Verify timing marks on the sprockets are positioned correctly.

2. Install camshaft sprocket retainer bolt and washer. Tighten retainer bolt to 54-61 Nm (40-55 lb-ft).

3. Lubricate timing chain and sprockets with clean engine oil or equivalent meeting Ford specification.

4. Install engine front cover as outlined. Installation
