LABOR ALLOWANCES

PARTS REQUIREMENTS:
Parts will be direct shipped ("seed stock") for this recall. Quantities being shipped are based on the number of assigned vehicles for this campaign.

Replenishment parts can be ordered through Renkim and will be shipped by Excelda Manufacturing through December31, 1998.

Starting in January 1999, parts must be obtained directly from the adhesive supplier, Lord Corporation. For your local Lord Corporation distributor call (800) 234-3876.

MATERIAL ALLOWANCE
The 148-707 Fuser Hood Repair Kit will be supplied to dealers at "no cost". An allowance of $5.00 per vehicle is being given for the replacement of cutting tools and repair materials. Enter $5.00 allowance as "Other" in the "MISC EXPENSE" area of the claim.

TOOLS
One Fusor 50 ml Adhesive Dispenser Gun, part number 501-040, will be supplied to each dealer with the "seed stock" shipments. Additional dispenser guns can be obtained by phone or FAX:

PRIOR APPROVAL FOR HOOD REPLACEMENT
We expect that actual hood separation will be very rare, therefore; prior approval is required before replacing any hood that has separated. Before replacing any hood you must call 1-800-325-5621 and obtain prior approval.

NOTE:
Please retain all removed hoods for a period of 90 days or more.

EXCESS STOCK RETURN
Excess stock returned for credit must have been purchased from Ford Customer Service Division in accordance with Policy Procedure Bulletin 4000.
