Central Control Module: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
Receives input from system components and controls appropriate chime functions.

Controls the operation of courtesy lamps for a set time when either left or right door handle is raised.

Controls anti-theft protection system. Monitors switches located throughout the vehicle, and if triggered sounds horn and signals hazard flasher to flash turn signal lamps. Also disables starting system until anti-theft system is disarmed.

Also controls headlamp retractors to raise and lower headlamps.
