DR1 - Will Engine Start

Key On Engine Running (KOEO) DTC 244 indicate a Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor DTC 214 has been stored in Keep Alive Memory. This was detected during Cylinder Balance test mode.

Possible causes:

- Open or shorted harness.

- Damaged Camshaft Position (CMP)/Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor.

- Damaged Ignition Control Module (ICM).

- Damaged Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

- Will engine start?

Yes -- Go to DR2. DR2 - Clear and Attempt to Re-Generate Code 214

No -- Go to DR10. DR10 - Check For VPWR to Camshaft Position Sensor
