REMOVAL

NOTE: When removing spark plug wires from plugs, use spark plug wire remover T74P-6666-A or equivalent.

1. Grasp and twist the boot back and forth on the plug until boot is loose.

CAUTION: Do not pull on the wire directly, as it may become separated from the connector inside the boot.

2. Remove boot and wire from plug. When removing wires from the ignition coil, squeeze the locking tabs of coil wire retainer by hand. Twist and pull on boot until free.

INSTALLATION
1. Using a small clean tool, coat entire interior surface of boot with dielectric compound on the spark plug end, and coat the outside surface on the coil pack end.
2. Attach each wire to proper terminal of coil pack. Ensure wires are all the way down over their terminals.
3. Install the wires starting with the No.1 terminal.
4. Remove wire retaining brackets from old high tension wire set and install them on new set in same release position.
5. Install wires in brackets on valve covers.
