QT4 Check Warning Indicator With Engine Running

- Start the engine.

NOTE: Certain ABS faults require that the vehicle be driven in order for the indicator to come on. Other faults will cause the indicator to turn on each time the engine is started.

- Drive the vehicle if necessary.

- Does the anti-lock brake warning indicator illuminate?

YES -- For NGS Tester code retrieval, proceed to Quick Test Step QT5. QT5 Perform New Generation Star Tester Hookup
-- For VOM code retrieval, proceed to Quick Test Step QT6. QT6 Perform VOM Hookup

NO -- Normal operation. If ABS symptom exists, go to pinpoint test G1. Pinpoint Tests
