Air Induction System

Air Induction System:

The air induction system supplies filtered air to the engine where it will be mixed with fuel. The volume air flow meter is mounted to the rear of the engine air cleaner and is used to monitor the amount and temperature of the incoming air. This information is sent to the powertrain control module.

The air induction system consists of:
- Engine air cleaner intake tube
- Air cleaner element
- Volume air flow meter
- Throttle body
- Intake manifold
- Variable resonance induction system solenoids and shutter valves
