Brake Light Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove lower steering column trim.
3. Disconnect brake switch electrical connector.
4. Remove brake switch, pulling it straight out from brake pedal.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting following:
a. Ensure switch is correctly installed by pushing switch in until it bottoms out against brake pedal.
