Certain 1996 Model Year Probes produced from 11/1/95 through 11/30/95 at Flat Rock Assembly Plant.

Reasons For Recall
For these vehicles, Standard No. 208 specifies that a label which includes the statement, "Do not install rearward facing child seats in any front seating position" shall be installed on each sunvisor. This statement may not have been included on the label that was affixed on the driver's sunvisor.

To correct this condition, a new caution label, instructions for checking to verify whether the vehicle has the incorrect label, and instructions for affixing the replacement label where necessary will be mailed to the vehicle owner.
