Hydraulic System: Description and Operation

Vehicles are equipped with a conventional, pedal-actuated hydraulic dual brake system.

COMPONENTS
The system consists of the following:
^ Power brake booster (2005)
^ Brake master cylinder (2140)
^ Hydraulic brake tubes and hoses
^ Front disc brake calipers (2B121)
^ Rear disc brake calipers (2552)
^ Anti-lock brake system (ABS) components.
^ Proportioning Valve.

PROPORTIONING VALVE
^ Vehicles are equipped with a Load Sensor Proportioning Valve, located under the rear of the vehicle.
