RELAY

1. Measure the resistance between relay terminal 86 and all other terminals. If any resistance is 5 ohms or less, replace the relay. Otherwise continue with the test.







2. Usage jumper wires to apply battery voltage to terminals 30 and 85. Measure voltage and terminal 87A.If voltage is less than 10 volts, replace the relay. Otherwise, continue with the test.







3. Usage jumper wires to apply ground to terminals 86. Measure the voltage and terminal 87. If voltage is less than 10 volts, replace the relay. Otherwise, return to the pinpoint tests. Pinpoint Tests
