Parameter Identification (PID) Access

DESCRIPTION
The Parameter Identification (PID) mode allows access to certain data values, analog and digital inputs and outputs, calculated values, and system status information. Throughout the testing, here will be references to PID values.

PID ACCESS

AFCM PID List:






1. Perform safety precautions.
2. Connect the scan tool to OBD II DLC.
3. Turn key ON or start vehicle.
4. Select VEHICLE & ENGINE SELECTION menu (OPTIONAL).
5. Select NEW VEHICLE YEAR & MODEL (OPTIONAL).
6. Select DIAGNOSTIC DATA LINK.
7. Select AFCM - ALTERNATE FUEL CTRL MODULE.
- This module supports some DTCs and PIDs which appear similar to the PCM but may have an entirely different meaning.
8. Select PID/DATA MONITOR AND RECORD.
9. Select the PIDs, press TRIGGER.
10. Select START to begin.
