Flywheel Housing Alignment





Special Tool(s)

NOTE: Lift the clutch pedal to its uppermost position.

1. Remove the transmission and flywheel housing.
2. Remove the clutch release hub and bearing, clutch pressure plate, and clutch disc.
3. Install the engine rear plate and flywheel housing to the engine.





4. NOTE: Mount the special tool with the magnetic base so that the indicator contact point rides on the circumference just outside the transmission pilot hole.

Rotate the crankshaft one complete revolution and check the face runout.





5. Install the special tool, rotate the crankshaft one complete revolution and check bore runout.
6. If either the face or bore runout exceeds the maximum allowance, INSTALL a new flywheel housing.
