Mirrors: Description and Operation

REAR VIEW MIRRORS

All vehicles are equipped with a manual day/night interior rear view mirror.

The exterior rear view mirror system consists of the following:
- exterior mirror
- exterior mirror glass
- exterior mirror cover
- exterior mirror control switch

Exterior mirrors are either manual or power operated depending on the vehicle specification. All power exterior mirrors are controlled by the exterior mirror control switch mounted on the driver mirror interior trim panel. If equipped with heated mirrors, the exterior mirrors have a heater element contained in the mirror glass which operates for the same time as the heated rear window and is activated by the heated rear window switch.
