PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION

Voltage is supplied to the headlamp switch through a fuse protected circuit.

When the headlamps switched is placed in the HEADLAMPS ON position, voltage is supplied to the multifunction switch.

If the multifunction switch is placed in the LOW BEAM position, voltage is routed through the low beam relay to the low beam headlamp bulbs. The LH and RH low beams are fused separately.

If the multifunction switch is placed in the HIGH BEAM position, voltage is routed through the high beam relay to the high beam headlamp bulbs. The high beams share a fused circuit.
