AIR BAG WARNING LAMP ON - DTC B2295 IN
RESTRAINTS CONTROL MODULE

This article supersedes TSB(s) 09-08-07 to update the Part List/Service procedure.

ISSUE
Some 2007-2009 Mustang vehicles equipped with side air bags may exhibit the air bag lamp on with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B2295 with lamp fault code 22/23 (driver/passenger seat side airbag circuit failure). This may be caused by the circuit connection in the side airbag module wire harness.

ACTION
Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Replace the side airbag module as described in Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-20B.
