Ignition Control Module: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The purpose of the ignition igniter is to control the primary current to the ignition coil.

OPERATION
An alternating current voltage induced by the pickup coil turns "ON" and "OFF" the igniter which switches "OFF" the ignition coil primary current.
