System Check

Refer to DIAGNOSTIC CHARTS, for complete system diagnosis.

Switch Test
Using a digital multimeter, perform continuity tests in Fig. 69. If the continuity is not as specified, replace switch.

Motor Test
1. Connect battery positive lead to terminal 2, Fig. 70.
2. Connect battery negative lead to wiper motor body.
3. If wiper motor does not operate, replace motor.

Park Position Inspection
1. Connect battery positive lead to terminal 1, install jumper between terminals 2 and 3, Fig. 71.
2. Connect battery negative lead to wiper motor body.
3. If operation does not end in the ``Park'' position, replace wiper motor.
3. If operation does not end in the ``Park'' position, replace wiper motor.
