This bulletin is being written to correct the procedure when checking the Oil Pump to High Clutch Hub Shim Adjustment.

Step number 3 on Page 7A2-38 of the 1990 GEO Storm Service Manual should read:

3. Place the J 35284-1 bridge and leg assembly, J 35284-19 bridge extension with J 35284-4 gage cylinder and a J 35284-32 high clutch gage pin on the transaxle case (Figure 132).

The gasket should not be installed when performing this Adjustment.
