Throttle Cable

Fig. 3 Throttle Cable Adjustment:

1. Hold accelerator pedal in the fully depressed position, the loosen cable adjusting nuts,
2. Adjust cable to obtain 0 to 1 mm (0 to .04 inch) clearance between end of boot and stopper on cable, then tighten adjusting nut:
- Throttle Valve cable lock nut to 10 Nm (89 lb.in.).
- Throttle valve cable adjust nut to 10 Nm (89 lb.in.).
3. Fully depress accelerator pedal and recheck adjustment, then road test vehicle.
