Troubleshooting Hints

1. Check STOP Fuse by depressing brake pedal and noting stoplamp operation.

2. Check ECU-IG Fuse with a fuse tester.


3. Check that grounds G102, G103, G200, G201, G202, and G203 are clean and tight.

4. Test Cruise Control System for vacuum leaks by applying vacuum to the CRUISE CONTROL ACTUATOR.

5. Check the CRUISE CONTROL ACTUATOR linkage adjustment.

6. Check that the speedometer is operating correctly. Check the speedometer cable for kinks or breaks.


7. Check that the "BRAKE" Indicator is not lit.
