Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

1. Check Fuse C-7 with a fuse tester.

2. Check to see that ground connection at negative (-) BATTERY Terminal is clean and tight.

3. Check that engine coolant level is adequate for Coolant Temperature Gage operation.

4. Check that engine oil level is adequate for Oil Pressure Indicator (Base) and Oil Pressure Gage (GSi) operation.


5. If more than one gage or indicator is inoperative, check for an open in the YEL wire between JUNCTION BLOCK and INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER or in the INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER printed circuit.
