Outer Joint Boot

DISASSEMBLE
The outer joint boot may be removed for joint inspection, cleaning or replacement. To remove the outer boot, first remove inner joint, then slide boot off over inner end of shaft.


ASSEMBLE
1. Apply joint grease to wheel-side joint.
2. Install wheel-side boot on shaft, then fill inside of boot with approximately 80 grams of suitable joint grease.
3. Install boot bands, ensure boot is not stretched, collapsed, twisted or kinked.
