Radio, Stereo, and Compact Disc: Description and Operation

CIRCUIT OPERATION
The Front Speakers are located in the lower Front Doors behind the Trim Panels. If the Vehicle is equipped with a Radio, Cassette and Compact Disc Player, then there are additional Speakers (Tweeters) located in the Front Doors behind the Inner Mirror Garnishes. The Rear Speakers are located beneath the Rear Seat Back-to-Rear Window Trim Panel.

The Radio incorporates an electronic memory for preselected station and clock functions. Battery voltage is applied at all times for the Radio clock and memory circuitry through the Dome Fuse. If this voltage source is interrupted for any reason, the clock and memory functions must be reset. With the ignition switch in "ACC" or "ON," battery voltage is applied through the CIG-RADIO Fuse to the Radio. When the Radio "ON/VOL" control is turned "ON," voltage is applied through the switch to power all electronic Radio functions. The Radio is permanently grounded at G202.
