Cigarette Lighter: Description and Operation

CIRCUIT OPERATION
With the Ignition Switch in the "ACC" or "ON" positions voltage is applied through the CIG/RADIO Fuse to the Cigar Lighter. The Cigar Lighter is permanently grounded through Junction Connector 3 and Junction Connector 1 to G200. With voltage applied and the Cigar Lighter pressed in, the Cigar Lighter heating element will begin to heat up. When the heating element reaches a predetermined value, the Cigar Lighter will pop up, thus interrupting the circuit.
