Turn Signals: Testing and Inspection
With The Ignition Switch in "ON" or "START", voltage is applied from the TURN Fuse through the normally closed contacts of the Hazard Switch to the Turn/Hazard Flasher. The Turn/Hazard Flasher is grounded at G200. The Turn/Hazard Flasher contains a solid state timer/relay. When the Light/
Turn Signal Switch is in the LH or RH Turn position, the solid state timer/relay receives a ground signal through the LH or RH Turn Lamps. When the timer/relay receives this signal, voltage is applied through the Turn/Hazard Flasher and the Light/Turn Signal Switch to the LH or RH Front and Rear Turn Lamps and LH or RH Turn Indicator. The LH and RH Front and Rear Turn Lamps are all permanently grounded. Depending on the Light/Turn Signal Switch position (LH or RH Turn position), the LH or RH Turn Lamps and LH or RH Turn Indicator will flash approximately 80-90 times per minute.
