Sub-Oxygen Sensor Replacement

Sub-Oxygen Sensor:

SUB-OXYGEN SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative (-) battery cable.
^ Raise and suitably support vehicle.
2. Sub-O2S electrical connector.
3. Two nuts and Sub-O2S from vehicle.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Sub-O2S to vehicle; secure with two nuts. Tighten sub-oxygen sensor nuts to 41 Nm (30 lb. ft.).
2. Sub-O2S electrical connector.
^ Lower vehicle.
3. Negative (-) battery cable. Tighten negative (-) battery cable-to-negative (-) battery terminal retainer to 15 Nm (11 lb. ft.).
