Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor:

INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative (-) battery cable.
2. Four clips and Air Cleaner (ACL) cover.
3. Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector.
4. Push IAT sensor out from inside ACL assembly.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Push IAT sensor into air cleaner assembly.
2. IAT sensor electrical connector.
3. Air cleaner cover; sure with four clips.
4. Negative (-) battery cable. Tighten negative (-) battery cable-to-negative (-) battery terminal retainer to 15 Nm (11 lb. ft.).
