Antenna: Service and Repair

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery (-) cable.
2. Antenna connector from back of radio; access through instrument panel compartment.
3. Antenna cable from clips under instrument panel.
4. Two clips and LH kick panel from vehicle.
5. LH A pillar trim panel.
6. Antenna cable from clips on LH A pillar.
7. Attach a piece of rigid wire to antenna cable to aid in the removal and installation of the cable through the A-pillar.

Removing Antenna Mast:




8. Two antenna mast screws from roof and antenna from vehicle while guiding rigid wire through left A pillar.
9. Rigid wire from antenna cable (leave rigid wire in A-pillar to aid in antenna installation).

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Rigid wire to antenna cable.
2. Guide antenna cable and mast through A-pillar with aid of rigid wire.
3. Antenna mast screws.
4. Remove rigid wire from antenna cable.
5. Antenna cable to clips on LH A pillar.
6. LH A pillar trim panel.
7. LH kick panel to vehicle; secure with two clips.
8. Antenna cable to clips under instrument panel.
9. Antenna connector to radio; access through instrument panel compartment.
10. Negative (-) battery cable.
