Troubleshooting Hints - Exterior Lights

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. For inoperative Park Lamps.
^ Check the TAIL Fuse.
^ Check that Light 1 Relay is securely mounted in Relay Box.
^ Check for an open or shorted filament within the inoperative bulb.
^ Make sure that G102, G103, G203 and G400 are clean and tight.
2. For inoperative Turn/Hazard Lamps.
^ Check the BACK Fuse.
^ Check the HAZARD Fuse.
^ Check that the Turn Relay is securely mounted in the Junction Block.
^ Check for an open or a shorted filament within the inoperative bulb.
^ Check that G102, G103, G203 and G400.
3. For inoperative Stoplamps.
^ Check the STOP Fuse.
^ Make sure the Stoplamp Switch is properly adjusted.
^ Check for an open or shorted filament within the inoperative bulb.
^ Check that G400 and G401 are clean and tight.
4. Before component replacement, check for poor connections at related component and in-line harness connector terminal connections.
