Air Induction System
DESCRIPTIONThe air induction system draws outside air through a forward mounted duct to the air cleaner (ACL) assembly. The intake air passes through the inlet duct, a resonator (silencer), and an air filter element to the throttle body assembly. The air then flows through the bore of the throttle body, into the intake manifold, through the cylinder head and into the combustion chamber. The air filter element is incorporated into the air cleaner assembly in order to keep dirt from entering the engine.
