Automatic Transmission/Transaxle: Application and ID

The automatic transaxle identification number is located on the top of the transaxle case next to the transaxle range switch. This seven digit number is stampped into-the case and refers to model year and serial number sequence. Additional transaxle identification information can be found on the service parts identification label. This label contains information on Regular Production Options (RPO) as well as standard and mandatory options. This label is affixed to the spare tire cover of each vehicle at the assembly plant.
