Manual Downshift

1. Move the manual selector to Drive (D) range and operate vehicle at 64 to 72 km/h (40 to 45 mph). Release the accelerator pedal and move the manual selector to the Second (2) range and verify:
- Transaxle downshifts immediately to 2nd gear.
- Engine slows vehicle dawn.
2. Move the manual selector to Drive (D) range and operate vehicle at 40 km/h (25 mph). Release the accelerator pedal and move the manual selector to the Low (L) range and verify:
- Transaxle downshifts immediately to 1st gear.
- Engine slows vehicle down.
