Engine Lubrication: Service and Repair

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Oil level indicator from guide tube.
2. Unclip crankshaft position sensor electrical connector from guide tube.
3. One bolt and guide tube from vehicle.
4. O-ring from guide tube.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. New O-ring to guide tube after applying clean oil to O-ring.
2. Guide tube to vehicle, pushing firmly into hole; secure with one bolt. Tighten guide tube bolt to 9.5 Nm (84 inch lbs.).
3. Clip crankshaft position sensor electrical connector onto guide tube.
4. Oil level indicator to guide tube.
