Compressor Replacement
IMPORTANT: When installing a new compressor, add 120 cc (4.1 fl. oz.) of refrigerant oil to the refrigeration system.Remove or Disconnect
1. Discharge and recover refrigerant.
2. Negative (-) battery cable.
3. Windshield washer reservoir tank.
4. Compressor suction pipe from the compressor.

5. Compressor discharge pipe from the compressor.
6. Compressor electrical connector.
Description:
7. Loosen idler pulley and remove the compressor drive belt.
Description:
8. Four bolts and compressor from vehicle.
Install or Connect
1. Compressor to vehicle; secure with four bolts. Tighten Compressor bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb. ft.).
2. Compressor drive belt to vehicle. Adjust Compressor drive belt.
3. Compressor electrical connector.
4. Compressor discharge pipe to compressor. Tighten Compressor discharge pipe fitting to 10 Nm (89 lb. in.).
5. Compressor suction pipe to compressor. Tighten Compressor suction pipe fitting to 10 Nm (89 lb. in.).
6. Windshield washer reservoir tank.
7. Negative (-) battery cable.
8. Evacuate and recharge air conditioning system.
9. Operate A/C system and check for refrigerant leaks.
