Condenser Fan: Service and Repair

Remove or Disconnect
1. Negative (-) battery cable.
2. Front grille.

Description:

3. Three bolts and hood latch from vehicle, disconnecting hood latch release cable.
4. Center core support brace from vehicle.
5. Condenser fan motor electrical connector.

Description:

6. Two clips and condenser fan motor from vehicle.

Install or Connect
1. Condenser fan motor to vehicle; secure with two clips.
2. Condenser fan motor electrical connector.
3. Center core support brace to vehicle.
4. Hood latch release cable to hood latch.
5. Hood latch to vehicle; secure with three bolts. Tighten Hood latch bolts to 15 Nm (11 lb. ft.).
6. Front grille.
7. Negative (-) battery cable.
