Control Assembly: Service and Repair

Remove or Disconnect
1. Center console trim bezel.

Description:

2. Three screws and heater control unit.

Description:

3. Temperature, mode, fresh/recirc, and engine coolant control valve control cables from heater control unit.
4. Blower switch electrical connector.
5. Blower switch:
A. Pull blower switch knob, secure retaining clip.
B. Two screws and blower switch from heater control unit.

Install or Connect
1. Blower switch to heater control unit:
A. Blower switch to heater control unit; secure with two screws.
B. Blower switch knob, secure with retaining clip.
2. Blower switch electrical connector.
3. Temperature, mode, fresh/recirc, and engine coolant control valve control cables to heater control unit.
4. Heater control unit to I/P; secure with three screws.
5. Center console trim bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

Adjust
Temperature, mode, fresh/recirc, and engine coolant control valve control cables. Refer to Temperature Control Cable/Adjustments.
