Instrument Panel

The instrument panel assembly mounts to the body of the vehicle at the steering column supporting bracket, the support member and along the base of the windshield opening. The instrument panel assembly is the attaching base for the instrument panel compartment, instrument cluster assembly, instrument cluster trim bezel, radio (if equipped) and the heater control unit. For appearance, the instrument panel covers the routing of major assemblies such as the heating and air conditioning components, electrical components and connectors, and wiring harnesses.
