Troubleshooting Hints - Gauges and Warning Indicators

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. Check the GAUGE Fuse.
2. Check the DOME Fuse.
3. Check that the Audio Alarm Module is securely mounted in Junction Block 1.
4. Check that engine coolant level is adequate for ECT Gage operation. Refer to Checking Engine Coolant Level (ECL) in Engine Controls.
5. Check that fuel level is adequate for Fuel Gage operation.
6. Check that oil level is adequate for Oil Pressure Indicator operation.
7. Check that G106, G200 and G202 are clean and tight.
8. Check for an open or shorted filament within the inoperative lamp.
9. Before component replacement, check for poor connections at related component and in-line harness connector terminal connections.
